Public Information Act (PIA) Requests
The Maryland Public Information Act gives the public the right to inspect and copy records of state government. To request records from the Department of Commerce, submit a written request to our designated representative. We will respond within the timeframes set by the Act, and some requests may involve reasonable fees for search and copying.
