Maryland Economic Development Commission (MEDC)
The Maryland Economic Development Commission (MEDC) brings together business leaders from across the state to help shape Maryland’s economic development policies and priorities.
Founded in 1995, the Commission evaluates Maryland’s business climate and advises the Governor and Department of Commerce on strategies, policies, programs and priorities that support business and job growth.
